Evidence and sources

The site gives priority to official and primary sources. A source can establish what a rule says or what a technical principle is; it does not automatically prove that LPP 3.27 is necessary or unnecessary. Those are separate policy judgments.

How claims are labelled

  • Established fact: supported by an identified source.
  • Published information not identified: a limited statement about the consultation material examined, not a claim about work the Town may have undertaken internally.
  • Analysis: an interpretation or question arising from the evidence.

Evidence limitations

This verified version is a bounded review prepared during consultation. It does not claim to contain every internal Town document or every relevant study. Technical performance varies with site, design, installation, occupant behaviour and maintenance. Where the available evidence does not support precision, the site uses questions and qualified language rather than a numerical claim.
